Bangsar Date @Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf & @Les Deux Garcons

I have to admit that when it comes to holiday, I never fail to procrastinate...urgh, how I hate it when I have tons of works during the holidays...I mean holidays are when we have time to relax ourselves, be prepared for the upcoming challenges, some catch-up session with family and friends. Speaking of catching up, it has  been quite a while for us to meet up. When we do, we would always settle down ourselves with great food!!!

Becca & Vivian
Is been a while since we meet up, the last time was also at Bangsar. Hmm, both of us have a thing for Bangsar, I guess ???

Been hearing bout Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf  for quite some time finally I got her, my date tonight along with me to visit one of the bedtimes story restaurant. So, the wolf huff and puff us all the way to Bangsar Village. A gentle reminder that this is a non-halal restaurant.

Grilled Pork Pesto Pasta ** YUMMY!!!

Pork Kebab
We both love the pork kebab. It was saute with homemade sauce and grilled perfectly. Giving it a 8/10 for this dish. Pesto was equally good, in fact I was amazed with the combination. This was my first time trying pork and pesto, normally it would be seafood.

Definitely this wasn't the end for the night...
Ever heard of Les Deux Garcons ??? They sell cakes, macaroons, coffee and tea...

Salted Caramel, Chocolate & Passion, Framboise,  Pistachio, Lemon Vanilla, Coffee Hazelnut

Found this interesting. Cheers to all coffee lovers !
I love the macaroons fillings but somehow I find it not chewy enough...hmm, and just slightly sweet for me. Maybe because I normally cut down my sugar intake...

Meeting up with the KRS ex commitee !!! they just warm up my night :) miss you guys badly...

0905

Okaaayyy, after my super long long break, finally is time back to class! Andddd I have chosen form 6 though...back to my secondary school to continue my higher education.

Many of my friends have been wondering why did I choose STPM in the first place but not A levels, CPU, IB, AUSMAT and the others. Well, I did took some time to choose the pre-university courses after getting advices from family and friends.  For sure, taking STPM might not be an easy pathway and we would still have to stick to school uniforms, school rules and such. Basically, to be conclude there isn't much freedom from other pre-u.

Anyhow, let's look at the bright side. Choosing STPM gives me a wider choice since I am still uncertain of my future yet. It gives a really strong foundation compared to the other pre-u, we learn more in every topic. In a way, we could easily get through our first and second year of degree. After finishing the course, we would be offer to get into public university, local university and overseas university. FYI, there are 20 public universities in Malaysia, well that only accepts STPM and MATRICS student. Couldn't deny the fact that it ain't easy to study the courses we want in the public university that we chosen despite the conditions set by the government for non-bumi. But still, we got to bear in mind that we still stand a chance if we really do work hard enough. Nothing is impossible. The other benefit is that it really does help to save up a lot for those who are having financial issue.

We all know that taking STPM is tough, it might be even the toughest among all pre-u courses. If we could take up the pressure of learning within this one and a half year, I bet we could really be transform into a different person. This path ain't easy, I know that. Thanks everyone for the support and great advice, I will truly make sure that I won't regret taking this journey. It is always important to have a positive mind, so don't tell yourself that you can't do it when you haven't try. Even after you try, ask yourself was it the best that you could do or could you do even better?

So for now, I think focus, revise and practice is utmost important to handle STPM since they have change to modulus syllabus which consist of  exams in each 3 semester.

Well, wish me luck friends!!! Don't give up and don't think is impossible to achieve CGPA 4.00. Work hard together and we can do it. :)

That's all for now !!!

080513

Frankly speaking we do felt disappointed with the final results. It has been sleepless nights since 050513 for some of them. Even though we couldn't change anything about it anymore, but we will never back down. We will never lose hope.

Luckily, we have social media that help connects people together to be united and to get worldwide support.
I always don't understand why do we still have to be categorized into Malay, Chinese, Indian and other races when 1 Malaysia has been implied. We are all brothers and sisters of Malaysia. I hope in the future we don't categorized ourselves by the races but in fact we will just be name as Malaysians. A change. Change for all Malaysians.

Change is coming. We all know that and we will make sure it does happen in the future. Never underestimate the 90's kid!!! This is just the beginning. All we need is just time. 5 more years that's it will do...that time we will do our best for the best of this country.

Hear our voices, the sound from Malaysia citizens. It is the rakyat tsunami now.
MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!

Ben's @ Publika

Is been a while since I posted about food, so here goes one. Apparently we happened to be around Damansara, therefore we head on to Publika for the food hunt !!! Is been a really busy month and finally we have a chance to settle down a little while for a cup of coffee.

I am not sure about anyone of you but I tend to enjoy every sip of my coffee, it just helps me to chill my nerves and think better. Especially, when you have lots of things in your mind and just mentally got stressed up. That is when I think coffee helps me out.

We wanted to try out Ben the other day but they happened to close the shop earlier for some spring cleaning work. So here we are again visiting Ben for a late dinner.
Really love the way they decorated the table with candles on each tables, felt so warm :*
And they have these table topic's cards in case you ran out of topics with your partner, that was so helpful :)
We tried out the cards and actually get to know each other more. The night was filled with laughter, great food and a drink.

His - Wild Mushroom Spaghetti with Mascarpone(with lemon zest and truffle oil)
Hers - Pad Thai Seafood Linguine (stir-fried with asian spices, prawns, calamari and spices)
Ben's specialty **
Banoffle Sundae (Love this friggin much with caramel and chocolate sauce)
Been awhile since I took banana and ice-cream, it was fantastically satisfying :P

I had a cup of latte while he had cappuccino with soy milk. Worth something to try coffee and soy milk combination. Great choice for those who can't stand too much of coffee.

There are much more great food to try out in their menu, especially their desserts. Simply can't wait for the next visit!!!

It was really a great night out at Ben's with the lighting and everything. Happiness is just everywhere ;)

Till then, all the best Malaysia!!! GE 13 is just tomorrow. Everything will be so much different by tomorrow. No matter what it is, we hope and pray for the better Malaysia, the better future & for the better us :)
Vote wisely for what you want and hope for the next generation.

Hello peeps out there, have you guys read bout the Nuffnang's post bout the Explorer-On -The -Go contest? Hmm, so have you figure out what are you good at exploring at I think I spend most of my time trying to explore new places out there. Creating my new adventure at everywhere no matter who was there.  Definitely, when I do found out new places, I will sure call out my buddy to try out the food there.

When it comes to food, I can never resist the temptation. Anyhow, whenever we found out any nice food out there, I will never forget to snap a picture of it and post up to share with my buddies. HAHA, I know it sounds weird, but that's what we do!!! In order to get a better picture version of the food, I will always snap it with my camera cause somehow the phone's camera couldn't bring out the best of it. Anyhow, I do forgot to bring the camera out. How frust when I have to settle my picture with a blur version. Really need to rethink bout the camera part when it comes to buying phone. Like seriously for ppl like us. Need better front camera for selca sometimes though.....

Blur version from the phone :(

When I do have time, I would turn on to some traveling or food channel so that I know where and what to go for the next time!!!
Share your adventure and who knows you might stand a chance to win fabulous prizes :)
